Blondel Earl Dance & Theatre Arts Centre

I have been a member of The Blondel Earl Dance and Theatre Arts Centre for sixteen years and have loved every single minute i have spent there. The school provides a lot of opportunity for all its students in both performing and studying different styles of dance. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing. There are always new challenges to be taken on. The teachers are constantly supportive and encouraging and their efforts into the school make sure the very high standards are attained. I personally find the school exceptional and the inspiration they have given me, along with other past students, has given me the chance to go on and continue my training in dance and musical theatre next year at college. The school, its students and its teachers are one of a kind.

Sarnia Mutual

I have used Sarnia Mutual to finance a couple of car purchases and they have been helpful, friendly and efficient. I think their rates are very good too and would certainly go straight back to them again in the future if I needed to.

Chris Allen was a godsend to us. We had been let down by another pool company who were not able to deliver the pool we wanted. Not only did we have the pool within the week but we saved a small fortune at the same time along with copious quantities of useful advice. Once again Chris many, many thanks!!!

The Waters Edge Restaurant

I would throughly recommend the restaurant at The Imperial. We have been twice recently for the Sunday carvery. The food is a very high standard and exceptional value including 3 courses and cofee. I look forward to going there again.

It is always a pleasure to go into Samuel Pepys. There are not many shops these days that make you feel like a valued customer and give such personal service. The shop has a great sense of space too so you can browse their stylish range of clothing in a relaxed atmosphere.

I recently visited ʼMaisonʼ which impressed me very much. I love France and was pleased to see a strong French influence in the decor and the products within the shop. I was greeted with friendliness. It is good to find a place where you can have curtains made from beautiful fabrics. I was particularly liked the china and candlesticks and choice of toiletries. There is parking in the area, but because the shop is away from the town centre, I do not think it will attract that many tourists in the summer months. I shall certainly visit it again and hope to buy something next time.

Natural Beauty

I have been going to Natural Beauty for more years than I care to remember and have seen it change hands a couple of times in the past 20 odd years. Alison, who now runs the business, is such a friendly, down to earth, approachable person and extremely professional. She always makes you feel relaxed and at ease and you can have a good chat and a laugh with her or, if you just want to be quiet, relax and be pampered, she does that too. She is never pushy with new treatments but will only recommend what she thinks you will benefit from. I go there every week!

We have known Chris and Debbie for a long time. Debbie has been our travel agent for the last ten years and has booked several holidays for us. Debbie has always gone out of her way to make sure our holidays have run smoothly, from the time of the booking until our return from our trip. Our last three holidays have been to Australia and as Debbie is an "Aussie Specialist" her knowledge about Australia is vast. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the personal touch makes booking with Travel Counsellors an easy choice. In 2004 my husband and I asked Catherine to design the stationery for our wedding in Guernsey. We wanted stationery that was beautiful, simple and unforgettable. We got that, and more. Catherine began work immediately, and produced some truly beautiful pieces of handmade stationery for us. She was very easy to work with, listened to all our ideas, and incorporated the themes of our wedding. Catherine has since designed christening cards for our two children, individual birthday cards for friends and family, and is currently working on a logo for an educational documentary film project of ours.
