Most Guernsey people are familiar with Brehon tower which stands proudly in the Little Russel, between Guernsey and Herm. But few people know it was once home to 35 artillerymen working hard to defend the island from the threat of French invasion. Dating from 1856 and built by Thomas Charles de Putron, Brehon tower now houses a colony of Common Tern and is an important navigation mark in this busy stretch of water. The tower represents longevity, reliability and strength - qualities which Brehon Chartered Accountants aspire to by offering our clients a professional, reliable and impressive accountancy service.
At Brehon Chartered Accountants our strengths also lie in our people. Founded by Sarah Hancock in 1997, Brehon has now grown to 13 members of staff all based at our premises in St Martins. Sarah started her accountancy career with BDO Reads, a leading Guernsey firm of Chartered Accountants and was appointed as an audit manager in 1994. Today, Brehon's dedicated accountancy team provide a complete and comprehensive accountancy service. We have many years of professional accounting experience between us and have established a very loyal customer base.

What is particularly special about Brehon is that we offer a very personal service. No business is too small and we are always happy to visit clients in their own home or business. Keeping accurate accounting records as a new or small business can be daunting so Brehon Chartered Accountants offer all new clients a free no-obligation quote and advice on what's needed to get your accounting records started.
We also offer Quickbooks training at times to suit you, including evenings and weekends. One of our team will help you set up your system, give you initial training and provide an ongoing service to take some of the headache out of keeping your accounts in good order.
Although always at the end of a phone, we are happy to communicate with all clients via email so you know you don't have to worry about contacting us during normal office hours.
