A former pupil and teacher at the RNCM, John is equally at home on the 'classical' concert platform or on the rock stage, as he was formerly lead singer with the Liverpool band the LAs, who had a worldwide hit with 'There She Goes'.
In recent years, despite still taking on at least 50 live performances a year, John devotes a lot of his time to being a first class music teacher, offering guitar lessons to students of all ages throughout Guernsey.
John is the guitar teacher for Beechwood, Elizabeth College and Ladies' College pupils who can enrol for one-to-one tuition during school time.
