Sheila started with only 18 pairs of beautiful, hand-made Edward Rayne leather shoes in her Mansell Street shoe shop which started to sell before she had even opened the doors! Instep moved to new premises at 17 Le Pollet during 2003 to offer customers a more prime location in town.
Quality and style are still Sheila's aim and are the mainstays of Instep's reputation. With her many years of experience, there is not much that Sheila does not know about shoes and current fashions. Many of Instep's shoes are personally designed by Sheila in her own choices of style and fabrics, so Instep is a unique shopping experience in Guernsey that you will not find anywhere else. Each shoe is individually selected and tried for comfort before placing on the shelves.
