Massage is the most natural way to maintain positive health but it also has a profound healing effect on the human body. For centuries many cultures have used massage to treat and alleviate a wide range of disorders.
Remedial Massage
Some of the many complaints which can be alleviated by remedial massage treatments include:
- Sprains and strains
- Lack of mobility
- Back & neck pain
- Stress and tension
- Headaches and migraines
Some of the many benefits produced by remedial massage treatments include:
- Improved circulation
- Relaxed muscles
- Aids digestion
- Speeds up the elimination of waste products
Combined with the psychological effects of touch and warmth, these benefits from remedial massage therapy soon produce a feeling of well-being and an improvement in general health.
Sports Massage
Nick is fully trained in sports massage which is a much-needed treatment in a sport-enthusiastic community like Guernsey. With sports massage the combination of both soft and deep tissue massage techniques help restore muscular power and mobility whilst stimulating the lymphatic flow to remove waste products which can accumulate during exercise.
Sports massage treatments can be used both before and after exercise to maximise its effects on the body.
On Site Acupressure Massage
The beauty of this very specialised massage treatment is that it is designed to be performed anywhere with the client seated on an ultra comfortable chair, fully clothed, and it takes less than 25 minutes.
Based upon a 1,500 year old form of Japanese Acupressure, this style of massage treatment works directly on the muscular, circulatory and nervous systems of the body, leaving the client feeling relaxed, alert and refreshed.
Apart from many years of experience specialising in remedial and sports massage treatment at his clinic in Guernsey, Nick also practices Bowen Therapy and is a member of the Bowen European Register. He is also a specialist in postural seating and ergonomic advice.
