Formby Physiotherapist, Joy graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1990 and was awarded an MSc in Health Sciences in 1999.She currently works part time as a senior NHS clinician treating patients with a variety of conditions. Joy also sees patients privately in Formby. Since qualifying as a physiotherapist,  Joy has regularly attended post graduate training courses in order to maintain and update her knowledge and skills. She is a member of the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice, the British Medical Acupuncture Society and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.

£35 for initial 40 minute assessment and treatment

Appointments available to see the physiotherapist, at Healthpoint Formby on Saturday mornings and Tuesdays (including evening) - Other times by arrangement



 
Pilates classes


Classes are held at Holy Trinity Workshop, Rosemary Lane, Formby. Thursday evenings and Friday mornings during school term-time.
These classes, run by Formby Physiotherapist Joy, are aimed towards improving posture and correcting muscle imbalances, posture and muscle function being major factors in chronic neck and back pain. Class sizes are small to ensure as much individual attention as possible but it is essential to attend for a private screening/instruction session  with the Formby Physiotherapist, Joy, prior to joining the class.
