By removing reliance on plastic carrier bags there will be an acceptance of long life shopping bags which will help reduce landfill.

Any Evesham town retailers, or services can help by offering bags to their ciustomers which can be used over and over again. This is a cost effective way of removing the littering problem associated with "free" carrier bags.
