In Enfield, we believe that people from every community can make wonderful adoptive parents. We have children from all racial and cultural backgrounds and we’d like to hear from you.
Many black and minority ethnic children, and children of mixed heritages wait too long for permanent placements. In Enfield, we currently have a number of children awaiting adoption and we want to hear from prospective adopters who could meet the needs of these children and help them understand their own unique cultural identity and background.
All kinds of people can make great adoptive parents. Whatever your culture, race, religion or sexuality, if you are over 21 years of age, we would like to hear from you. We don’t look for specific qualities or talents – we want people who can make a lifelong commitment to a child needing permanence, stability and a loving home.
