Leah Gough-Cooper Quartet - The Jazz Bar
The Dumfries sax player has been studying at the famous Berklee Jazz College in Boston and is home again for summer. Here she brings in a great band brimming with energetic young talent, with last year's Young Jazz Musician of the Year winner (and now fellow Berklee student) Alan Benzie (piano), the newly emerging young drum sensation, 18-yr old John Lowrie, plus the already very accomplished 18yr old double-bassist Andrew Robb.
