An exhibition of nineteenth century Chinese export art which looks at the meanings behind the symbolism used in Chinese art. The exhibition has been planned, designed and will be run by students from Durham University's Museum and Artefact Studies course. Children’s craft workshops linked to this exhibition will be held in the gallery every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon between 1-3pm during the school summer holidays.
