Our family owned company specialise in the import and wholesale of quality wines throughout Doncaster and the surrounding areas.

Each of our wines  have been personally chosen by  Wine Appreciation's proprietor John Atherfold. John is a wine specialist  who is also a Executive Member of the Yorkshire and North East of England Wine & Spirits Association. John's expertise and knowledge have also recently contributed to his being admitted as a Chevalier of the Order of Cava - Burgundy.

Comprehensive choice of specialist wines

Our wine list includes a range of over 275 personally selected wines.  We import wines from:-

• France including Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, Gascony, Loire & Rhone   
• Spain - A national Cava Agency, Penedes and wines from Navarra
• Germany - Estate wines from Rheinhessen, Moselle and Rheinpfalz
• Italy - Trento, Valpolicella, Piedmont, Chianti (Tuscanty), Sicily and Puglia

We also offer a superb range of Austrailian Independant wines and have selections from most countries of the New World.

Wines do not get on our list unless they represent excellent value for money and have been individually vetted and known by the proprietor

Wine appreciation specialise in helping people to learn about wines

We offer a wine club in which we offer seminars where you can learn about and taste the wide range of wines we offer. Our wine club provides the perfect opportunity to learn about wines you are buying and that suit your taste.

Wine tastings and seminars are held monthly at the Vicarage in Fishlake, Doncaster and by arrangement for Companies, Clubs, Societies, Charities and Schools in their own locality or venue.
