Darlington bar and restaurant, Mint is owned by Malcolm McKee and Turkish born Cetin Odabasi, who has worked in the Hilton Hotel in Istanbul, The Royal Caribbean Cruise Line in the USA and the famous Michel Rouge Flambe Restaurant. The restaurant is stylish and elegant, giving guests the option of dining in a booth for individual privacy or a table in the dining room amongst other guests.
Sumptuous Dining
Open seven days a week, from 9:30am until late, Mint is renowned for its plush, comfortable dining experience and delicious, freshly prepared food. Head chef, Paul Parkhill previously worked in The Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington and The Hallgarth Hotel in Coatham Mundeville, and brought his team with him when he joined Mint. Darlington restaurant's team of chefs host an open kitchen that actively encourages guests to speak to the chefs and watch the dishes being prepared and cooked.
The menu at Mint is constantly changing as Paul and his team of chefs devise and develop more recipes to tantalise guests' tastebuds. Dishes served on exquisite china at the Darlington bar and restaurant in the past include:

Mint is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and regular weekly entertainment sessions, including jazz singers and acoustic players on Friday and Saturday evenings. The bar and restaurant is also ideal for busy mothers, as there is a children's menu available at any time of day. There is also a lunch and twilight menu from Monday to Friday.
