The Udder Pre-school Childcare Day Nursery has been established since 1999 and is based in an idyllic setting on a dairy farm situated between Geddington and Little Oakley near Corby.
Owned and run by Lesley Harker the childcare day nusery operates for five days a week during term time and offers pre-school children in the North Northamptonshire and Corby area aged between 2 years and 5 years both session care and full day care.
Also available is the Udder Out of School Club (available to children at local primary schools and pre-school children in the North Northamptonshire and Corby area) which offers childcare during school holidays and before and after school. Childcare is therefore available all year round on weekdays between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm.
The childcare day nursery comprises two buildings linked by a large under- cover area. Within the buildings there are opportunities for dressing up, arts and crafts, jigsaws, games etc. and within the outdoor under-cover area constructive play with sand, construction toys and water. Beyond these areas lies a very large play area which is securely fenced and contains a wide variety of play apparatus including play houses, climbing frames, trikes and bikes. Also available is a pets corner (where children learn how to care for chickens rabbits and guinea pigs) and a clearing within the woodland known as the Forest School Area.
Childrens Parties are also available by arrangement.
All staff at the day nusery are professionally qualified or studying and training for their qualifications whilst employed at Udders. Every staff member ensures your child's wellbeing whilst in the care of the day nusery.
