Tanfield Railway operate trains every Sunday year round and Wednesdays and Thursdays in the long school summer holidays. NO pre booking is required.

BOOKING IS REQUIRED for Santa Trains 2008 - Bookings for 2008 are taken from 1st January. Book early to avoid disappointment, they can be fully booked many weeks in advance.

Provisional bookings will be taken from the beginning of April, in person on operating days or by phone and are held for four weeks only

Firm bookings with payment can be made at the railway on operating days when tickets will be issued.
