Dating back to 1865, The Chester Grosvenor and Spa is owned by and named after the family of The Duke of Westminster.

Located in the heart of the historic city, The Chester Grosvenor and Spa is one of the finest hotels in the north-west of England and one of a handful of hotels outside London to be awarded five AA Red Stars.

The hotel is perfectly situated for visiting all the historic sites of Chester, including the Roman walls, amphitheatre and Chester Cathedral.

Their award-winning fine dining restaurant (The Arkle) has been renamed 'Simon Radley at The Grosvenor' in honour of their exceptional Executive Chef whose culinary expertise was instrumental in the gaining of their first Michelin star, and under whose leadership the restaurant has retained its star for eighteen consecutive years.  The name of this highly respected chef will now become synonymous with the hotel’s reputation for excellent cuisine and service. 

The exceptional menu changes seasonally and the emphasis is on using the very best, fresh local produce in imaginative and innovative ways.
