CLAIRE HOUSE A CHILDREN’S HOSPICE has been overwhelmed with the help, support and donations for our Charitable Organisation over the years from the residents and businesses of Chester and Cheshire.
Claire House, a local Charitable Organisation, provides respite, palliative and terminal care to over 230 very ill children and their families, whose ages range from birth to 23 years.
The Hospice has a specialised Care Team and excellent facilities including a multi-sensory room, hydrotherapy pool, and arts and crafts room. They provide physiotherapy and music therapy and there is a fully equipped computer room. It is a place where the whole family can stay in a home from home friendly-environment to enjoy quality time.
A new Teenage Annex has been built by our Charity to provide the best possible environment for the young adolescents who come to stay at Claire House Charitable Organisation and help them to remain as independent for as long as possible and to enjoy their own space.
Our Charity does not receive any Government or NHS funding and needs the help of the residents in Chester to raise £2million a year to meet its costs. Our Charitable Organisation welcomes support, help and donations from Chester and Cheshire to help maintain the quality care and support that those children and families need.
