Bring your fishing gear and unwind on the banks of the lake, or along the river just by your campsite, fishing for wild brown trout and sewen. There are pitches for tents or caravans.

All this tranquility to enjoy, and yet amenities are less than a mile away in the small town of St Clears, where you'll find a supermarket, takeaways and restaurants. There is also a small coffee shop selling snacks on the camping site.

From the campsite, positioned near the south coast of Carmarthenshire, there is so much to explore in both directions.
7 miles of sand awaits you at nearby Pendine Sands. Dylan Thomas famous boathouse is at the picturesque town of Laugharne, just a few miles down the coast. From there you can explore the beaches at Amroth, Wiseman's Bridge, Saundersfoot and the delightful harbour town of Tenby.
For families, Folly Farm makes a great day out for younger children with all the animals to see. Thrill seekers will be fully entertained at Oakwood Theme Park which also has rides for youngsters.
Pembrey has a large coastal country park with cycle routes, a dry ski slope, adventure playgrounds and nearby is the racing circuit.
Carmarthenshire boasts some beautiful gardens including The National Botanic Gardens of Wales with its extensive, stunning domed glass house. Aberglasney gardens, set around a Jacobean manor house takes you back in time.
