RITES OF PASSAGE FOR THE 21st CENTURY
with Sue Gill
Sue Gill has been devising new secular ceremonies with people around themes of health, home, work, community, identity, friendship and family for over 20 years.
She brings a wealth of ideas, advice and information on how we can actively participate in marking significant milestones in our lives, rather than passively buying in to whatever the professionals have to offer.
In addition to exploring the concepts of Rites of Passage, this workshop will include practical work on creating ceremony, working in a variety of spaces indoors and out (weather permitting).
Please bring along a small personal object or photograph that has meaning for you.
Sue Gill co-founded the renowned celebratory arts company, Welfare State International, and is co-author of The Dead Good Funerals Book and The Dead Good Guide to Namings and Baby Welcoming Ceremonies.
12 places for adults.
Tickets: £55 (£45 concessions).
