Civic Centre lawns

The Big Weekend sponsored by Admiral is now a City favourite.

The event staged on the lawns of the Civic Cnetre is a combination of a massive free live music event on the live music stage and the UK's largest travelling fun fair.

Artists appearing include:

Friday - The Men They Couldn't Hang, Juice plus.. 7.30pm - 11pm

Saturday - Prince Buster, grupo Lokito, Ryland Teifi plus... 2pm - 11pm

Sunday - Ash, Glasvegas, Yoah, Go Audio plus...2pm - 10.30pm

No alcohol is allowed on site which creates a more relaxed atmosphere and the whole area is packed.

Time: 1 - 3 August Funfair Fri 5.30pm - 10.30pm, Sat 12noon - 10.45pm, Sunday Noon - 10.45pm
