The Mick Duffy School of Motoring specialises in helping new drivers to pass their driving test. Unlike some driving schools, its sole focus isn't on just passing your test first time (although most pupils do). It's to ensure that you'll pass your test as a confident and safe driver.

Mick quickly helps everyone to feel at ease behind the wheel. By gradually introducing new manoeuvres and situations, drivers become more able to anticipate and deal with the hazards of driving.

He also provides handouts to help people pass the theory test.

Mick also offers a choice of additional driving lessons for people who have already passed their test but want to become better drivers.

Pass Plus courses for newly qualified drivers

Mick provides the Pass Plus training scheme for drivers who have passed their driving test in the last 12 months. It consists of 6 practical modules which involve driving in town, on rural roads, on dual carriageways and motorways and in all weathers.

Mick is a great bloke and a truely great teacher. The atmosphere within the car is so relaxed and a good atmosphere to progress through your learning. He isnʼt pushy and lets you progress at your own pace. Mick is very approachable over any issues you have and will answer any questions throughly. I have absolutely no complaints with Mick and would highly recommend him to anybody within the Bradford area to look into him. In my opinion Mick could just be ʼthe best of Bradfordʼ!

Ive just passed my test today thanks to mick!! when i started my lessons with Mick i had already failed one test with another instructor and had nearly given up! but as soon as i had my first lesson with Mick i was so happy and relaxed behind the wheel! his car is so easy to drive and Mick helps you remember vital checks with little sayings! (kiss the birds) i feel very confident about going out and driving on my own but dont think i could have done it without him! i will be recommending him to everyone i know and would would reccomend him to anyone who wants to enjoy their driving lessons!! heʼs funny, patient, friendly and a very good instructor!! thanks Mick!

Hi thanks to mick duffy i passed my driving test the first time no problems. This guy is the best he goes through everthing anybody needs to know about driving and the advice he gives is unbeliveable.When i first started my lessons i thought god this is going to take about a year the mick just give me the confidence i needed to do this.The handouts that he gives you are brilliant and he is always understanding if you dont fell like you did something and he just lets you get on with the mistakes you made to get them right. I have had several driving instrutors and then i was told by a colleague that mick is good. i started taking my lessons with mick last august, and what a pleasant instructor. With Mick i felt so much at ease because heʼs so calm and explains everything in detail. If you dont understand how to do something he throughly explains. Mick is the best instructor iʼve ever had and such a nice person to get along with. I highly recommend him to anyone who is wanting to learn because ʼMick is the manʼ. Mick is a truly brilliant instructor. I had a few lessons with another driving instructor before I started with Mick and I was a complete nervous wreck who hated driving I never thought I would be able to pass. However when I started with Mick that all changed, he’s a very patient and kind instructor who makes you feel very comfortable and at ease. I soon progressed into a confident safe driver who passed first time! Iv recommended Micks driving school to all my friends and family and defiantly will carry on doing so in the future.

Before starting my lessons with Mick I was with another driving school. I did not enjoy driving and was not very confident. Mick was then recommended to me by a friend. I had tried several different instructors but nothing ever clicked with driving and I was getting very fed up and disheartened . I then tried Mick and what a difference he made he has A great way of putting you at ease and explaining things to you . He make things make sense like roundabouts . After several years of trying and failing to pass my driving test and was just on the verge of giving up altogher, i was introduced to Mick Duffy. After three months of lessons i had sat and passed my test. Mick is very patient and understanding and is willing to go that extra mile (pardon the pun) to make sure you are completely at ease and confident. I would definately recommend this driving school to anyone young or old.
