HELP ODEON RAISE VITAL FUNDS FOR THE VARIETY CLUB CHILDREN’S CHARITY ON 13 JULY
The Variety Club Children’s Charity and ODEON will host an exclusive preview screening of the must-see new film ‘Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging’.
ODEON invite their guests to enter the world of Georgia Nicholson - based on the hugely successful series of novels by Louise Rennison.
‘Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging’ is the story of Georgia Nicholson, a 15 year old with all the same troubles in the world as her friends. As Georgia shares her hilarious journal entries, prepare to be engulfed in the world of the soaring joys and bottomless angst of being a teenager.
From the people that brought ‘Bend it like Beckham’ and ‘Bride and Prejudice’, ‘Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging’ provides a master class in story-telling the most comedic of circumstances.
ODEON’s adopted charity; The Variety Club will receive all box office takings from the charity screenings.
All tickets for the event on July 13 are priced at just £5.00 – and the ticket price includes a free scoop of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream!
Colin Alexander, General Manager of ODEON Blackpool says: “ODEON is Fanatical About Film and dedicated to supporting our adopted charities, so what better way for us to raise money for this very worthy cause than with an exclusive screening of a much anticipated release. Every ticket holder can enjoy a delicious free scoop of ice cream courtesy of our friends at Ben & Jerry’s!”
Norman Kaphan, Variety Club Chief Executive comments: “The Variety Club is very excited to be in partnership with the ODEON. The cinema is an incredible source of information and communication, and this new partnership will help us to devise innovative projects and raise money for underprivileged children whilst providing a cinematic experience that will both educate and inform children and adults throughout the UK.”
