With one in three people diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime, the NHS has a major priority of ensuring that they receive effective treatment. It is expensive and that drains resources, leaving little for the non-essential things that more often than not make a difference to those receiving cancer care.
Rosemere Cancer Foundation is a charitable organisation that helps to provide extra facilities and equipment for patients being treated at the local Cancer Units throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria. In addition, Rosemere also helps to fund vital local research with an overall aim of helping to provide the very best care for patients throughout the region.
