We experienced a Chilli Lime buffet at the recent Best Of Blackburn networking event. It was unlike any run of the mill buffet one usually gets at business events...it was outstanding. There was a wide range of foods on offer from quiches, canapes and salads, catering to a wide range of tastes whether you are a meat-eater or vegetarian. Being a bit of a foodie I had to try everything...all delicious and well presented so would have no hesitation recommending The Chilli Lime Deli. I look forward to visiting you soon.

I have been to Johnʼs premises, which are in a picturesque little corner of Blackburn opposite the cathedral and behind the beautiful classicist building of Lloydʼs Bank, a nice place to sit down, inside (or out, when the sun is shining). He offers interesting foods and unusual flavours, say Chili flavoured ice cream. Worth coming for just to tell the story to your friends. Johnʼs food is not only eccentric but also tasty. I am a strict vegetarian and found plenty of food suitable for me. Just a few days ago I attended a business event for which John and his team had done the catering, and the variety and quality of food was really exceptional, and again enough to my own peculiar vegetarian orientation: marinaded olives, unusual cheeses etc. If all organisers of business events asked John to do the catering, I would go to more business events - just for the food. As someone with a large number of food intolerances and allergies, Chilli Lime Delli is one of the few places I can obtain reliable information on food. John supplies a number of items that I cannot get anywhere else and has endless patience as I scrutinise labels !In addition he sells reasonably priced fruit/veg boxes that contain fresh and tasty foods, so much better than the bland, half dead contents of plastic bags so often found in other shops. This shop is well located near the town centre but with car parking just around the corner. Overall this shop is a gem that shines brightly in Blackburn

I visited the Deli today, As always John was welcoming and very hospitable - you feel like you are dropping in to see a friend. Tastes and treats are always offered even for the vegetarian. Advice is always offered and gratefully received. I learn something new with each foray into the Chili LIme deli. Excellent produce and fantastic service.

This is how shopping should be. A fantastic choice of products both local and worldwide. Delicious meats, cheeses, olives all with a generous tasting before purchase. Try one of their sandwiches washed down with a bottle of traditional lemonade. Delicious!

Earlier today I visited Chilli Lime Deli and bought delicious cheeses from Parlick and Northumberland, olives from France and Greece [and a generous taste of each was provided before purchase]. I also stocked up on first class pasta. The most interesting shop in the town. Good advice, no pressure and excellent produce.
