This charities webvert highlights the work of the charity and its aim is to increase awareness to all Bexley Borough residents of the charities work. You can help this charity not only through donation but also through volunteering. THE TRDT is a registered charitable organisation (Charity No. 1108947) setup through both individual donation as well as sponsorship to initiate Tag Rugby in developing countries through the charity and then further develop and sustain the playing of Tag Rugby in the primary schools of that country. The charities work is designed to feed into existing development programmes for rugby in the hosting country and here we are asking Bexley Borough residents to get involved in the charities work (Care to volunteer perhaps, donate or sponsor?)
Our charities benefit to you
The benefits of being involved in this charities work and care is; improving your fitness and health, the charities tour will introduce you to working as a team, an opportunity to express oneself and you will feel a real sense of achievement by your involvement in the charities work. The charity through its involvement with children in developing countries hopes to pass on the wider message through sport; that is the one of transcending cultural, class and political barriers.
The tours of the charity
The tours of this charitable organisation last 2 and half weeks with volunteers made up predominantly of individuals who have a common cause in caring passionately about bringing sport to developing countries and share our goals. The volunteers going to the developing countries via our charity tours are predominately come from the UK's rugby community (and here we are reaching out to the Bexley rugby fraternity who care to get involved or donate). Anyone who has an interest in this charities work can join in the tours who also have an interest in rugby. From an individual who would like the opportunity to deliver first\basic level rugby training to children in countries where need at grass roots level is highly apparent, up to full time highly qualified rugby coaches, all are welcome. Additionally coaches from clubs in the host country will also be involved in this charities work during the tour.
Only modest resources are required by this charity when launching rugby initiatives for schools in developing countries tags, balls, cones, bibs and training manuals all funded by sponsorship or donations. Scarcer still are the experience and knowledge of the game required to sustain and then develop and promote it. The local coaches on the tours are how we ensure the necessary skills and knowledge are kept with that community.
If as a Bexley resident you wish to be part of this worth while charity please get in touch to either volunteer, donate or l just wish to learn more.
