ASYRA and its history

The Chinese discovered the meridian system millenniums ago and have developed and perfected their knowledge via thousands of years of practice and observation.

The meridian system is the foundation on which Chinese medicine and acupuncture have developed.  Although this ancient approach is very well established in Asian countries, it has only been a few decades that western countries have started looking into its potential and capabilities.

A few years ago it was discovered that the acupuncture/meridian points on the body may have a different skin resistance than points on the surrounding skin.

This seems to validate the long held belief by the Chinese that the meridians were bioenergetic gateways to the human system and that the proper and balanced flow of energy throughout this system is an important element of maintaining health.

How ASYRA works

Your skin’s resistance is measure by passing a micro-current through an acupuncture point and evaluating the flow of energy of micro-current in the associated meridian.  This is like checking to see how the electrical system is performing in the body as described and understood by the Chinese.

What ASYRA can tell you about your body

By simply taking a measurement of the energy flow through the body the ASYRA® can detect energy blockages (or excessive build up), weaknesses, or toxic interferences that can cause degeneration and loss of integrity within the meridian system.  Where ever such imbalances in the flow of energy are discovered, herbs, nutrients, or homeopathic preparations, a change of lifestyle and diet may be found to re-establish and maintain proper flow and balance.

ASYRA® does not look for any particular disease state, and therefore does not claim the power of diagnosis.  It is, in essence, a micro-current detector designed to compare pre-established known values in its library with the meridian system it is testing.  This unit has been FDA-registered for the purpose of testing skin points and evaluating the resistance of those points.

The performance characteristics of the meridian system have not been established by the FDA and therefore no projections can be made as to the meaning of the findings of this test in relation to any disease state but with Justine's knowledge and insight she offers additional support, dietary programmes and holistic body treatments to suit Asyra's findings.

Basic screening costs £65 for 1 hour.

    What are RSS Feeds?

RSS feeds allow you to see when websites have added new content. You can get the latest headlines and stories in one place, as soon as they are published, without having to visit the websites you have taken the feed from.

How do I start using feeds?

In general, the first thing you need is something called a feed reader. This is a piece of software that checks the feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications. IE 7.0 has a good feed reader built in, otherwise try Feedreader.
